Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise
Remember when Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise announced the birth of their daughter, Suri? It seemed like her cute little face was on the cover of practically every magazine at the time.

Now that Suri is older and TomKat have officially split, we rarely see the mother-daughter duo out and about. The former Mrs. Cruise is known to be private, especially after leaving the Church of Scientology (and her ex-husband) on less-than-friendly terms. When we do see Suri and Katie together, though, it’s clear that she takes after her beautiful mother. Just look at those twin grins!
Bette Midler and Sophie von Haselberg
We bet that Sophie von Haselberg has never had to convince anyone that her mother is the incomparable Broadway star Bette Midler — the two look exactly alike! Sophie didn’t just inherit her mother’s nose and signature smirk — she acts, too.

Sophie, whose father is former performance artist Martin von Haselberg, has showbiz in her genes. She appeared in Woody Allen’s Irrational Man and also played Linda Elwell in The Assassination of Gianni Versace. She may not yet be in the same league as her celebrated mom, but she’s well on her way and she’s got some of the best connections a young actor could ever wish for!
Uma Thurman and Maya Hawke
Anyone who watched season three of Netflix’s cult classic Stranger Things may have noticed something oddly familiar about the newly introduced character, Robin. The sassy, playful character is played by actress Maya Hawke, who is the descendant of two Hollywood heavyweights.

Maya calls Gattaca star Ethan Hawke “Dad,” and leading lady from the Kill Bill series, Uma Thurman, “Mom.” While you might not know it just looking at her at a glance, simply put Maya next to her parents and you’ll immediately see the resemblance. You can clearly pick out some of Ethan Hawke’s features, but she and mom Uma look identical!
Eugene Levy and Dan Levy
Comedy and eyebrows seem to run in the Levy family. Funnyman Eugene Levy has starred in some of the most beloved TV shows and movies that tickle our funny bones, like the American Pie franchise or basically anything directed by Christopher Guest.

His son Dan is a familiar face on TV, and works closely with his dad on the critically acclaimed TV comedy Schitt’s Creek. The two Levy men might not be confused for each other these days, due to the elder’s graying hair, but their resemblance is undeniable, especially when they rock matching pairs of their trademark thick-rimmed black glasses.
Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson
Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn are proof that good genes are Hollywood’s best-kept beauty secret. Gorgeous Goldie first made her mark on the scene on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, and went on to have an award-winning acting career while also raising three children.

Her daughter, Kate Hudson, would follow in her footsteps as an actress, starring in major motion pictures like Almost Famous and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. We know she has the performance skills to back up her fame, but it couldn’t hurt that she was handed down some physical gifts from her stunning mom. Even at over 70 years old, Goldie looks AH-MAH-ZING! Some people have all the luck.
Dennis Quaid and Jack Quaid
Some viewers of the Amazon Prime breakout hit The Boys found themselves asking if Dennis Quaid is somehow a time traveler. Unfortunately, the technology isn’t quite there yet, and Dennis’ look-alike is actually his son, Jack!

The two Quaid men share an innate acting ability as well as piercing blue eyes, a mop of wavy brown locks, and a roguish smirk. Jack can also be seen in the popular Hunger Games series as the deadly Marvel of District 1. His mom is also a well-known actress: Meg Ryan, of Sleepless in Seattle fame. Now that’s a family dinner we’d like to sit in on.
Heather Locklear and Ava Sambora
Heather Locklear is well-known to anyone who knows their daytime TV history — she starred on Melrose Place and Dynasty. Her bright smile and wavy blonde hair made her a style icon for young women in the ’80s, and everyone was trying to copy her look.

The best imitator came along when Locklear’s daughter, with Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, was born in 1997. Ava Elizabeth Sambora has grown up to be a stunner, just like mom. She’s blessed with the same charming grin and luscious locks as her mother; let’s just hope she can avoid her mom’s tendency for legal troubles.
Tom Hanks and Colin Hanks
Tom Hanks is one of the most beloved actors in Hollywood history, so it’s no wonder that his face is immediately recognizable no matter where he goes. One place you can see his well-known mug (besides in the movies) is on his eldest son, Colin!

OK, so they don’t have the exact same face, but the resemblance is certainly striking. Colin looks especially like his dad when compared to photos of Tom as a young man. The similarities don’t stop there, though, as both Colin and Tom are accomplished actors and have even appeared in two movies together: The Great Buck Howard and That Thing You Do!
Donald Sutherland and Kiefer Sutherland
Donald Sutherland has had quite an extraordinary acting career, with starring roles spanning over more than 50 years! The venerable performer, who was also named a Companion of the Order of Canada in 2019, has three grown children, one of whom you probably already know.

Kiefer Sutherland looks just like his dad, and has a résumé almost as long. The actor is best known for his role in the hit series 24 as formidable FBI agent Jack Bauer. It turns out the acting gene in the Sutherland family is hereditary — Kiefer’s daughter, Sarah, is a star in her own right after playing Catherine Meyer on HBO’s Veep. Talk about a Hollywood dynasty!
Kim Basinger and Ireland Baldwin
Take one look at Ireland Baldwin’s name and you’ll know instantly who her dad is. The Baldwin family is one of the most well-known in Hollywood, and Alec Baldwin, the eldest of four, is somewhat infamous for his tumultuous personal life.

He had his first daughter, Ireland, with Playboy model and former Bond girl Kim Basinger, and Ireland takes after her mom in many ways. She’s also a professional model, and she shares her mom’s statuesque frame, high cheekbones, and flowing blonde locks. They’re also both staunch supporters of animal rights, having posed for the same PETA campaign 20 years apart.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Apple Martin
Gwyneth Paltrow is so obsessed with healthy living that she named her daughter after a fruit. Or maybe she’s secretly a huge Steve Jobs fan? Either way, Apple Martin (whose dad is Coldplay frontman Chris Martin) can thank her mom for giving her both a very unique name and her stunning good looks.

In this photo posted to Paltrow’s Instagram, the two women practically look like sisters rather than mother and daughter. Part of that is Gwyneth’s superhuman ability to resist aging, which we’re not jealous of AT ALL. On top of that, the two also share piercing blue eyes, a perky nose, and a somewhat thin, subtle smile. Who knows if Apple will follow in her mom’s footsteps as an actress?
Elvis Presley and Lisa Marie Presley
Name a musician more well-known than Elvis Presley … we’ll wait. The original rock ’n’ roll heartthrob shattered thousands of adoring fans’ dreams when he married Priscilla Beaulieu in 1967. The couple welcomed a daughter, Lisa Marie, about a year later.

Though Elvis is no longer with us, you can definitely see his legacy in the features of his singer-songwriter daughter, who’s now a mom herself! The deep-set, soulful eyes, musical talents, and even a trace of the King’s signature lip curl were clearly passed down from her legendary dad. Though Elvis has sadly been gone for years, Lisa Marie continues to keep his spirit alive through her music and charity work.
John Lennon and Sean Lennon
Another music legend gone far too soon … John Lennon was a worldwide star before his untimely death in 1980. He left behind two sons: Julian, who was born to his first wife Cynthia Powell, and Sean, his son with Yoko Ono. While Julian looks more like his mom, Lennon’s younger son, Sean, looks exactly like the illustrious musician.

John’s look-alike son is also a musician, and has covered several of his father’s hits over the years. He also incorporates his mother’s avant-garde style, often staying on the fringes of popular music with an experimental approach. Though we certainly wish John was still around, his legacy lives on through his family and his music, and we’re thankful for that consolation.
Yolanda Hadid and Gigi Hadid
Anyone who follows fashion in recent years will have heard the name Hadid at one point or another. The family first rose to prominence when they were featured on the reality TV show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which may not have launched the Hadid children’s modeling careers, but it certainly didn’t hurt.

Yolanda Hadid, mother to professional models Gigi, Bella, and Anwar, was also a fashion model in her youth. It’s not surprising that her offspring also took that career path, given their striking looks passed down from mom. Out of the three siblings, Gigi definitely bears the strongest resemblance to their model mama — they both have sparkling smiles and chiseled features.
Reese Witherspoon and Ava Phillippe
Reese Witherspoon claims that Ava Phillippe is her daughter, but we’re not convinced she’s not actually a clone made in a lab somewhere. Their resemblance is downright staggering. In nearly every way, Ava is the Legally Blonde actress’ mini-me.

The two even dress alike at red carpet appearances, and as Ava gets older, it’s even harder to tell the two apart! From their matching hairstyles to their beaming smiles and trademark Witherspoon dimples, this mother-daughter duo are carbon copies of each other. They look so alike, one has to wonder if they even have mirrors in their house, or if they just use each other’s faces.
Christie Brinkley and Sailor Brinkley-Cook
Not many young women can say that their mom has been named one of the most beautiful women of all time, but Sailor Brinkley-Cook can! Sailor is the daughter of famed all-American beauty Christie Brinkley and her ex-husband, architect Peter Halsey Cook.

Most girls would find that reputation hard to live up to, but Sailor is just as lucky as mom when it comes to looks. She’s got the same classic beauty that Christie is well-known for, and even stood in for her on Dancing with the Stars. It must be nice for Sailor to know exactly what she’ll look like when she gets older … specifically, that she’s going to look amazing.
Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber
Speaking of gorgeous young women with moms who just don’t seem to age, Kaia Gerber has grown up and is making major waves on the fashion scene, much like her mother, iconic supermodel Cindy Crawford.

It’s no wonder that Kaia has become so successful as a model; she gets her stunning looks straight from her mom. Crawford wasn’t always supportive of her daughter’s decision to model professionally, though. For many years, she limited Kaia’s involvement in modeling because she feared the effects the industry might have on her young daughter while she was growing up.
Jerry Hall and Georgia May Jagger
You may have seen Georgia May Jagger’s face on national campaigns for Sunglass Hut and Rimmel London, sporting her trademark gap-toothed smile. What you may not have known is that she is the daughter of model Jerry Hall and Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger! The family resemblance is easy to see, especially between Georgia May and her mom.

Aside from her smile, which definitely came from her rock royalty father, Georgia May is the spitting image of her lovely mother. It’s no wonder she decided to put her natural talents to work as a model, just like Jerry. A love for bright-red lipstick also seems to run in the family, as the duo are almost always seen sporting the bright shade.
Susan Sarandon and Eva Amurri
Prolific actress Susan Sarandon has a lot of reasons to be proud: She’s won several major awards, kept an acting career thriving for more than 50 years, and raised three beautiful children, including her look-alike daughter Eva Amurri.

Eva, who models and acts, got her start on the silver screen playing a younger version of her mother’s character Helen Prejean in the crime drama film Dead Man Walking. The mother-daughter team played different ages of the same character again in 2012’s That’s My Boy. No wonder they keep playing the same role; they could easily be twins!
Demi Moore and Rumer Willis
Demi Moore and Bruce Wills may no longer be a couple, but they did raise three beautiful daughters together: Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. The Willis girls have all gone on to lead successful careers in acting, and it definitely couldn’t have hurt that their parents are huge stars.

Rumer, the eldest, takes especially after her mom, Demi, when it comes to looks. She even posted an Instagram photo of the two standing side by side in identical outfits with the hashtag, #twinning. They really do look like twins, with matching dark locks and pairs of thick-rimmed glasses.
Kate Beckinsale and Lily Mo Sheen
Everyone remembers Kate Beckinsale as the beautifully vampiric “Death Dealer” Selene from the Underworld movie series. Since then, the otherworldly gorgeous star has acted in various popular action films, but also raised her daughter Lily Mo Sheen, whom she welcomed with her ex-husband, actor Michael Sheen, in 1999.

Little Lily is all grown up now, and looks more and more like her mom every day. She even joined the Underworld universe, playing a younger version of her mother’s character in 2006’s Underworld: Evolution. Looks like Lily Mo is well on her way to becoming an illustrious actress herself!
Meryl Streep and Mamie Gummer
When Mamie Gummer and Meryl Streep step out together, nobody ever wonders if they’re related or not. The acclaimed actress and her daughter look so similar, they could easily play different ages of the same character — and they have!

Gummer, who is also an actress by trade, played a young version of her mother in 2007’s Evening. She’s also played notable TV roles on shows like Emily Owens, M.D. and HBO’s True Detective. Seems like not only good looks, but also acting skills run in this family! Her younger sister Louisa is a model, and her other siblings, Henry and Grace, are also professional actors.
JAY-Z and Blue Ivy Carter
Blue Ivy Carter might be the most well-known little girl of her generation, simply by virtue of her ultra-famous parents. Any time Beyoncé so much as tweets, her fans fly into a frenzy, so when she gave birth to her first child, it was huge news in the Beyhive.

Funnily enough, Blue Ivy looks much more like her dad, rapper JAY-Z. She does seem to have picked up some of her mom’s impeccable fashion sense, though! She can often be spotted out and about with her parents in some seriously chic getups. We can’t wait to see what’s next for this mini megastar!
Steven Tyler and Liv Tyler
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler isn’t exactly known for his looks, which makes it all the more surprising that his unique features on a female face would turn out as gorgeous as Liv Tyler! Even more surprising is the fact that Liv didn’t know who her dad was until she was 11 years old.

Once she discovered the truth, Liv got to know her famous father better, and even appeared in an Aerosmith music video! Seeing them side by side, it’s crazy to imagine that their connection was once a secret. They just look so similar!
Kate Moss and Lila Grace Moss Hack
If we’ve learned anything from this list, it’s that children of models grow up to be models. Kate Moss’ beautiful daughter is no exception to this rule. Lila Grace got her gorgeous features from mom Kate, who is arguably the most influential model of all time.

Ever since she was a young girl, Lila could be seen attending fashion shows with her mom, and now that she’s nearly grown herself, she’s already landed campaigns with major brands like Marc Jacobs, and is set to take the fashion world by storm. We see bright things in her future; she’s definitely learned from the best!
Catherine Zeta-Jones and Carys Zeta Douglas
Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones’ quick wit and striking beauty led to her being typecast in femme fatale roles like Elena Montero in The Mask of Zorro and Virginia Baker in Entrapment. The dark, mysterious beauty quickly won the hearts of Hollywood, and she’s been listed among the most beautiful people on the planet in several publications.

Years later, she’s still gorgeous, and is now mom to an equally beautiful daughter named Carys Zeta Douglas, whom she welcomed with husband Michael Douglas in 2003. Carys is the spitting image of her mother, with the same sleek brunette locks and sparkling smile that Catherine is known for. Only time will tell if Carys wants to become an actress like her parents, but she’s certainly got the look!
Ice Cube and O’Shea Jackson Jr.
Ice Cube’s son looks so much like him, he was actually cast to play a younger version of the rapper in the biopic Straight Outta Compton. O’Shea Jackson Jr., who is actually named after his dad, received rave reviews for his performance.

The Junior Jackson (or should we say a chip off the old cube?) is even pursuing his own rap career in addition to acting. He goes by the stage name OMG and has performed with his dad and younger brother, Darrell, on some tracks. He’s obviously signed to Ice Cube’s Lench Mob label, and is poised to become a huge star in his own right. He’s definitely one to watch!
Lisa Bonet and Zoë Kravitz
Actress Lisa Bonet’s daughter with rocker Lenny Kravitz has already made quite a name for herself as an actress and singer, starring in hit films like Mad Max: Fury Road and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. She also fronts the popular band LOLAWOLF.

Zoë (whose stepdad is Jason Momoa of Game of Thrones fame) is incredibly talented, but certainly owes some of her success to her famous family. She obviously got her stunning looks from mom Lisa, who could easily pass for her twin, and her dad Lenny Kravitz surely influenced her musical skills in one way or another. Based on her explosive success, we certainly expect to see much more of Ms. Kravitz in years to come.
Diana Ross and Tracee Ellis Ross
When your mom is a music legend as iconic as Diana Ross, it can be hard to make your own way in the world without being eclipsed by the “Female Entertainer of the Century.” Though Diana certainly cast a long shadow, her daughter Tracee has made a successful career in the entertainment industry as an actress on her own terms.

Tracee, who definitely takes beauty and style inspiration from her legendary mom, has already won numerous awards for her roles on breakout hits like Black-ish and Girlfriends. While it would’ve been easy to rest on her mom’s laurels, she’s certainly stepped out into her own spotlight, and we are loving it! Go Tracee!
Patrick Swayze and Jason Whittle (???)
Though late actor Patrick Swayze never publicly announced having any children, other sources have claimed that a man named Jason Whittle came forward after Swayze’s death in 2009 with a claim that might be pretty hard to dispute. Whittle alleged in an interview that the Ghost actor was actually his father, and a Google search reveals one photo which is pretty darn convincing.

Though Whittle’s existence was unknown to the public until a few years ago, he came forward to U.S. magazine Globe with the news that he was the secret love child of a woman named Bonnie Kay and the famous actor, and fans went wild with speculation. Nothing’s been conclusively proven yet, though. What do you think? Check it out for yourself!
